Chad Coe
President
Chad L. Coe, founder of Coe Financial Group, Inc., is recognized as a visionary in the field of wealth management by building his full-service financial consulting firm as a values-based business. His focus is on the personal well being and financial security of high net worth individuals coming to terms with their financial futures at various turning points in their lives. By becoming familiar with their personal values and disciplines, Chad becomes better equipped to customize plans with protection strategies and continued growth of their portfolios drawing upon what he learns of their goals and individual tolerances.
Chad is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA), who champions the cause of women faced with making critical financial decisions during the stressful periods pre- and post-divorce. He safeguards their financial settlements by guiding them with investment strategies as they become newly responsible for their own financial independence. In addition, Chad specializes in assisting medical professionals striving to help them maximize their wealth potential. Through custom designed programs, he seeks to help doctors shelter their assets while formulating solid choices for long-term growth.
Chad received a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Illinois. He is Series 6, 7, 24, 51, 63 and 65 licensed and is an Investment Executive with First Allied Securities. Chad has been selected for the distinction of Outstanding Advisor of the Year by Registered Rep magazine in 2008. Chad is one of 10 financial advisors honored out of a field of several hundred nominees. He ranks among the 2006 Ten Most Dependable Wealth Managers of the Central Region as awarded by Goldline Research, and is recognized in the National Register's Who's Who in Executives and Professionals 2005-2006. As a reflection of Chad's concern for people is his commitment to not-for-profit organizations. Founder/President of Special Kids Network, which raises money for various charitable organizations that assist children with special needs; Board of Trustees of Keshet, an educational program for children with disabilities; Founders Board of Directors for Rainbows, which fosters emotional healing among children grieving a loss from a life-altering crisis; and co-founded the Second Saturday Group, that helps women handle divorce with dignity.

Trevor Brody

Trevor takes the time to get to know you and your preferences. He can help you anticipate and prepare for the best and worst scenarios. The relationship established with you enables him to focus on your needs, the needs of your family and/or your business.
Outside of Coe Financial Group, Trevor serves on the Board of Directors of Special Kids Network, an organization that was created to provide funding for programs that help children with special needs; In addition he serves on the Board of Trustees of Helping from Heaven, an organization dedicated to improving the comfort and quality of life for children with special needs.
Prior to joining Coe Financial Group in 2003, Trevor obtained his Bachelor of Business degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Michigan University.

Melanie Duguid
Financial Advisor
Ms. Duguid believes planning is the first step toward financial independence and it begins with exploring her client's personal values and needs. By adhering to a disciplined investment philosophy, she focuses on long term performance while managing risk. Through a systematic process and discussions with her client, an appropriate financial strategy is developed.
Melanie Duguid joined Coe Financial Group in 2006. Prior to joining Coe Financial Group, she provided investment advice to individuals and corporations as an Account Executive with Merrill Lynch and Rose and Company Investment Brokers. She has over 17 years of experience in the financial industry with 7 years as an investment advisor and more than 10 years as an Illinois Certified Real Estate Appraiser.
Currently a candidate for the Certified Financial PlannerTM designation, she graduated from the University of Southern California and completed Northwestern University's Certificate Program in Financial Planning. She is a Certified Divorce Financial Practitioner (CDFP); and has her Series 7 and 66 offering securities through First Allied Securities, Inc. member FINRA/SIPC.
Melanie serves on the Highland Park/Highwood United Way Board of Directors and is an active member with the Illinois Financial Planning Association and Center for Women of Lake County.

David Podber
Financial Consultant
Dr. Podber's experience with institutional clients has been valuable in helping individual clients plan to meet their specific goals. Once goals are determined, Dr. Podber is able to create approaches that seek to achieve them.
Dr. Podber applies his strong technical background to today's financial products. He has a Ph.D. in Coastal Engineering from The Ohio State University, and is a licensed Professional Civil Engineer. As a Professor at Ohio State, he taught a variety of classes to undergraduate and graduate students. Dr. Podber also earned an M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics, and a B.A. in Mathematics. In early 2001, Dr. Podber was recruited to join a proprietary future's trading firm located at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and became the Head of the Quantitative Analysis Group. He was in charge of modeling the financial markets and managing assets for institutional and high net-worth clients.
In 2005, Dr. Podber joined the Coe Financial Group to bring his expertise and experience to individual clients. Dr. Podber's outside interests include community service. He is a Plan Commission member for the Village of Buffalo Grove, Illinois and a board member of Rainbows, a charity created to help grieving children.

Alan Wolan
Financial Consultant
Alan Wolan joined Coe Financial Group in 2003. His mission is to help clients cut through the clutter of financial services and provide them with clarity, care, and direction toward reaching their financial goals.
Alan Wolan acts as a financial problem solver for individuals, doctors, and business owners. When consulting individuals, he serves as their personal financial advocate who guides them through every step of the investment process. He has access to experts in key areas of investment management and portfolio engineering - institutional quality investment professionals rarely accessible to individual investors.
As an advocate for doctors and business owners, the objective of our program is to potentially help them to accumulate, preserve and enjoy the wealth that years of hard work have earned. Our planning methodology projects the timeline and dollar amount necessary in attempting to achieve financial independence. By avoiding excess risk, maximizing allowable deductions and protecting health and wealth from unexpected events, we chart what we believe to be the shortest course to financial independence.
Alan received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of California at Berkeley and received a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois. In addition, Alan has earned the designation as a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA).
Alan currently serves as a member of the Duman Microenterprise Center and Loan Committee at the Jewish Vocational Service that provides assistance to entrepreneurs and refugees trying to start small businesses. Also, he is a Board member of the Special Kids Network, Inc., which raises funds for children with special needs.
