Alan Wolan

Understanding what is important about money is the first step Alan Wolan takes with his clients. By discovering what matters most to clients - from their fears to their dreams - he strives to design a plan that can guide them toward their goals. By understanding each client’s personal situation, goals, and risk tolerance, he helps guide them through the accumulation of assets in their early years to the distribution phase in retirement. Over the course of more than 18 years in the industry, he enjoys the opportunity his career has offered him to help people pursue financial success.

Before entering the financial services industry, Alan spent more than two decades in the healthcare industry, working in managed care and prescription benefit management. Today, as a Wealth Manager with Coe Financial Group, he specializes in working with Baby Boomers. He is familiar with the challenges these individuals and their families face as they plan for retirement. His goal is to deliver prudent advice to those who wish to remain productive in professional circles, help them meet fiduciary responsibilities for their aging parents, and prepare them for the challenges of funding their twilight years.

Alan holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, as well as Illinois accident, health, and life insurance licenses. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and his Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois.

Alan and his wife have two grown children who have long flown the nest. When he isn’t traveling, he is an avid athlete, participating in men’s softball, golf, tennis, and cycling.
